Taikoza’s school shows have proved immensely popular with children of all ages, providing enjoyment through a unique cultural experience of Japan. Taikoza introduces the children to the various musical instruments and explains some of the history of the festivals that inspire the music. Traditional costumes add to the visual excitement of the performer’s dynamic movements. During the performance several children are selected to participate on stage and in the audience.

These drawings were done by children after a school performance and presented to us by their teacher. On the back they wrote their impressions of our performance.
