Welcome to East Winds, Inc and Taikoza. East Winds, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that sponsors Asian art forms. Taikoza, a Japanese music and dance group, founded by Marco Lienhard, has dazzled audiences worldwide with its electrifying performances since 1995.

Saturday, Aug. 23rd, 6pm. FREE CONCERT by Taikoza at Bruce’s Garden, Isham Park, Inwood, NYC. Located at the end of Park Terrace East and 215 St. Take the A train to 207 St or the #1 train to 215 St. (Rain date Sun. Aug 24)

Friday, Oct. 17nd, 8pm, at German Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Paul located at 315 W. 22nd St., NYC, East Winds Ensemble will present an exciting evening of new and traditional Japanese music performed by international masters of the shakuhachi and koto: Marco Lienhard and Masayo Ishigure. The program of soulful music will take you on a journey to old Japan.

Sunday November 23rd, 7pm. Annual NYC concert by Taikoza at Symphony Space, 2537 Bway at 95th St. With traditional costumes, dynamic motion, and featuring a 6 foot drum, this immensely popular show is not to be missed.
